Absolutely a brilliant and beautiful haunting story!! I became immersed in the characters immediately. The descriptive way this author writes is poetic and giving a vampyre a soul is pure genius. You feel like you're in the book!! Faelynne and Nathaniel are so beautiful together that you just pray they stay together for eternity!!! That's what I'm going to find out!!! Short review, but this is a MUST READ!! Hauntingly beautiful, sensual and horrific all in an amazing story!! C.K. Farrell is fascinating!!

I found I enjoyed this second novel more than the first. I felt there was a much more story line to this book than the first one. Faelyn's journey to find her maker and the result of what is actually happening at his castle in Newfoundland. Nice twists and turns.
This book is interesting and each character challenges the reader to want to know more. This book is worth purchasing.

This is a good book. It could of had more adventure but I believe this is the book in the series where you get the background on the characters. I can't wait too get into the next one. Great series so far and walk worth the price!
Underneath its vampire skin, Nocturne Book II is a complex gothic tale that asks moral questions yet at the same time reveals in vice. The writing is hauntingly beautiful yet again, just like it was in the first book in the series Disenchanted. I admire the way the author didn't comprise their unmistakably Irish way of storytelling or their voice at that. The style of writing breaks away from the norm I feel and is completely different from other books in it genre. Nocturne is poetic in places and harrowingly tragic in others. I am hungry for more
I have read the first three books of this series and found them enjoyable though short. I think the three books together wold have made a nice book. It seems to be the intention of the author to have the whole story told over six books, the end of each one doesn't really leaving you wanting more, but more like "really that's where your ending it?"
