Although the series continues, it seems this wraps up Sora and Blaze's story. This book like the rest did not disapoint. I think this might be my favorite one. Some quick recaps. Sora finally comes into her full powers and learns how to use them. A new couple forms and a new member joins the clutch. The battle they have been waiting for goes down. There were so many surprises in this book, I couldn't put it down. The only thing that bugged me was how mean Nat is to Mel. Poor guy. I hope things change for him in a positive way in the next book.

These books are great.I can't wait to start the next book.So far all the one's before this one was great to.
The conclusion of a trilogy - Sora and Blaze struggle to understand the cosmic problem they are supposed to be helping the Goddess change. The 3 books - Vampire Mage, Allied Mage and Chosen Mage should definitely be read in sequence as a set. A solid trilogy - very entertaining!
I love this book I love it just as much as I love the two. I would love to go into detail about what I love about it but my most favorite Parts would totally give too much away I will say that it made me definitely want to read the next books because I'm excited to see what all is in store for all the rest of the characters.

It was good, and tied up everything in the end. But the author trolled us with the amnesia!
Ok, I love a good strong alpha male, but except for Blaze who gets to have his moments most of these men either were in the background or being run over, or scorned or down right emasculated by the women....
Sora was ok, but though Viv was a little better in this book I wanted itch slap Natalie more times than I could count ....
Ok, she was abused by the L.A. clutch but that's horrible, the awful and if we were getting the chance to really get to know her and she was confiding in others , saying to them that being around soo many men was difficult or something, just freaking out in fear because the wrong man touched her that would be one thing...
But No, Nat is whole heartily embracing her inner dominant alpha inside and busting the balls of any poor male that crosses her path except say Blaze or Jackson is her new favorite hobby...
Ok, now Mel isn't the sharpest tool in the box, I mean come on the plot in the 1st book and a half along with deaths on both sides because he couldn't figure out away to tell his pack had found a mage that had been killed...
Shakes head, they almost go war over a conversation that needed had.... sad to the point of being ridiculous...
But even soo I started to hate Nat for the way she treated poor Mel between how Sora took control of him and his pack and Natalie was constantly going up one side of him and dine the other , I'd have surprised if the poor bastard have the balls of a six month old pup.. Now I'm saying Mel is perfect or anything but despite his mistakes and several missteps but Natalie's attitude was always out of proportion to anything it was done to her, Mel's poor beta looks at her too long and she does a 1/2 shift on him and scares him but that's ok, she's an Alpha now, right ?
It's ok to go out of control badass at any and all perceived threats because she's alpha now and they are just stupid males ?
BS!!! Both she and Viv take all other females in stride but if a male does something they don't like it's ok to shoot first ( mentally, emotionally, and physically) and maybe ask questions later...
Poor idiot Mel thinks she's his mate sighs,she screams at him about just being 19 and basically he's a crazy jerk for even thinking it... WTH, most of the h's in contemporary romance books are around her age or just slightly older, she was soo awful ... I feel like if he had looked at Bex cross eyed after Nat seemed have claimed Bex as hers she'd have gone for his throat in a heartbeat , even though Bex is his much beloved niece...
No,nonononono, the men here were treated like background noise or idiots to be put in their place by out of control females...
In not for overly controlling alpha males who treat women as theirs to own and control , hell no .... but women who run around kicking them men in the balls w/no empathy or compassion or questions, who only seem to care about their p.o.v and no one else's , it hurt to watch... I have a strong personality but I don't want to read about female led relationships or want to be in one ...
These men ended being such wusses too often, I'm really not enjoying this series any more..

Being strong and being a beyotch are not the same thing ...
Please tell the writer this , Sora has learned balance but the others not soo much...
And sadly I've seen Natalie only gets worse in h next book, her out of control alpha bs wouldn't be tolerated w/a guy..
